I downloaded the apk from their site but have not installed yet. IMO Google's Navigation has become cumbersome. Not a complaint but an observation. It's free after all. Will give this a twirl.

if you have note 4, you may want to download from official channel---galaxy app store. It will come with patches and updates regularly.

Nokia map is actually pretty good. It basically makes TomTom and Navigon obsolete.

I haven't tried it. I usually just use Google Maps when traveling .. Which traveling for me is rare .. And usually it is just to Orlando which I don't need a GPS for .

I am using the Here beta on my Note 3. For favorites saved I use S Nav which is a quick shortcut for Google Navigation and been using that to launch a route. When using Google Maps through S Nav the route automatically launches where as on Here beta I have to manually start the route which means a few extra clicks. But Here looks pretty good so far.

Here maps is pretty decent on my note 3. It has true offline navigation which is great if you are ever in an area without cell signal

need an account, either Microsoft account, nokia account, or FB/Twitter account I think. Then you can same the fav (they can be used later on even in offline mode).
