I finally have the Note 4 that I have been waiting on and now I have one too many devices. I'd like to get your opinion on which device to get rid of:

    Galaxy S5 or iPhone 5S?

Also interested in your reason(s) why.

Moderators- This is not an attempt to sell on the forum and I have no interest in entertaining any offers here. Just very interested in the forum's opinion. Thanks!

s5 is the same basic thing, and if you want variety, keep the iPhone. personally I'd sell the iPhone in the blink of an eye because of my hatred of apple products.. and the fact it'll most likely get you more money than the s5.

S5. It's practically the same phone with the similar features besides the spen. Atleast with the iPhone you get a different experience. I wouldn't sell the iPhone because dislike of apple products (I have an ipad) I would sell it cause the resell value is pretty high. Heck you can still sell the s5, right now, and get a good amount back from it if it's like new condition. But if you need two phones the s5 should be the first to go.

I REALLY hate Apple products. So for me to say this, pains my soul. But it makes more sense to sell the S5 and keep the iPhone for the reasons already mentioned. That will provide the most variety.

I would sell the S5 as well (for the same reasons stated above). I'm trying to decide on which back up phone to sell as well.

I have a Droid Maxx and and HTC One M8.

For me it would depend on how much you plan on using the back up phone (if at all). I'd probably sell the m8 and keep the droid maxx. The price of the droid maxx is really low so I'd cash out the m8 before that price drops even more

I'd sell both and pick up a N5 or N6. Get that stock experience when you want to mess around with Lollipop

In my case my employer provides me a cheap cell phone. I put the SIM card in my backup phone and actually use it. In case something happens to my primary phone (breaks, forget, sell, whatever) I move back into the old phone while I resolve whatever issue came up.

And because I can. I like cell phones.

The S5 given that the resell value will sharply drop if you wait and that you'll have a variety of experience with an iOS device. You'll be one of the few who dislikes Apple devices based on experience rather than going with the herd. You'll also be informed in the future about any OS changes rather than relying on what you've experienced in the past.

I would sell the s5 too for the same reasons mentioned. However if I needed the money the iPhone would go first.

Sell them all, that's what I did. Can't believe I'm down to just one phone, first time in years. But having said that, you really don't need anything else when you have a Note 4.

    I kept my GS3 as a backup.
