Hey guys, I'm thinking this is simply a common drawback from having an amoled screen, but I just wanted to be sure. While using auto brightness in a dark room (e.g., during bedtime) the brightness level on my device properly turned down, but I've noticed that when looking at applications that use a black background there will be a lagging "purple smudge" when scrolling or sliding through an application. I first noticed this while using the Yahoo Fantasy Football app in bed. Again, I read that this may be a common problem with phones that have amoled screens but I just wanted to make sure I'm not the only one with some sort of defect.

that's an SAMOLED 'feature' been like that for years. And yes, even the Note 2 will show this under the right circumstances. Usually black background while scrolling through with something dark colored.
