So, I have just begun to mess around with my camera, and I've noticed that pictures of my 4 year-old, just sitting on the couch, with bright lighting are not coming out as sharp as I would have expected. And, when I zoom in, the photos are pretty grainy. They look like they have an effect on them as if they are paintings.

    Can someone please assist me?

What should the camera settings be?

Umm duh, because the Note 4 doesn't have "REAL" optical zoom, its digital which does nothing more then "enlarge" the pixels.

I think he's on about after he has taken the photo,as in cropping

Can you please post some photos that are zoomed out and then zoomed in so I can see if mine are the same?

    Much appreciated!

So are you on about zooming before taking the photo or zooming in on a photo you have already taken ?
