I'm a long-time iphone user. My daughter just got a Note4 and loves it and I'm considering making the switch as well. She's not able to answer a question I have about using the phone to add things via voice.

I use siri many times a day to do 2 things - add something to a list in the built-in Reminders list, for instance adding an item to a list called Grocery, an errand to an Errands list, etc. I also wake up siri quite often to set an alarm or a timer. Is there a way with an Android phone to do these two things. I've been combing the internet for an answer and that what's led me here.

    Thanks!
    Pat

I believe that you can use either Google Search or S-Voice to do the things you are concerned about.
I use Google Search to set alarms all the time. It is the long open line with a microphone on the right side.
Just touch the microphone and say what you want it to do. You can get to S-Voice by double tapping the home button.
    Good Luck!
