Charging - drops 100% to 97% quickly

Hi, i just recently purchased note 4 and I'm using fast charging mode and once phone is charged i immediately take phone off charger but once I turn it on, it'll show 97%. Should I try leaving in on charger a little longer?

There is is a dead zone near the top. It isn't a big deal.

Typical of every Samsung phone I've had. Once it hits about 80%, mine doesn't budge for awhile. By the same token, my G3 stays at 100% for a long time before it goes down.

yup. my G2 would stay at 100% for like an hour off charger, and 20 minutes screen on time until it hits 99%. the note, s4 and s3 all drop down to 99% immediately after coming off the charger. but the g2 would drop quickly more so around 60 and below, whereas the note 4 is a steady decline...either way,i get the same, if not better, battery life on the n4 than the g2

Both mine and my girlfriends note 4s do the exact same thing.I've noticed that if you turn it on after it said its fully charged and then plug the charger back in it will go upto 100% in a minute or so.also if you charge the phone without it being firmed of it will charge to 100%.

Funny. Just noticed this yesterday. I looked down at my phone and was like "98%!? This is the first time the screen has powered on since I took it off the charger!" Lol.

My Note 4 does the exact same thing... It's been doing it since I've got the phone and it's good to see I'm not the only one with this problem.

I would be surprised it after you unplug it jump from 97% to 100%

My note 4 doesn't do that, but my note 3 used to do it all the time, especially when i would swap the battery....but so far not on the note 4

My phone does the same thing. It's fairly quick moving down from 100% to about 88%, and then slows down the battery drain from that point on. Not sure why it does that.
