Is anyone else having an issue where part of the screen on your note 4 is brighter in areas that in others? For example, the right half of my screen is noticeably brighter than the left half, in low light situations.

I have never heard of that issue. Hopefully you're still within your 2 week return period.

I am in the process of making my Note 4 self aware.

I noticed that and resolved it by unchecking multi window view under Multi Window in Settings. See if it works for you.

Uniformity problems of (large) displays is a fact and a problem for some/alot units. Not specific to the Note series of course. There's only two ways about it; live with it or exchange the unit for another hoping that one is better.
