On the Note 4 which app by default contains the Notes from Exchange? I looked at S Notes but it only shows my Samsung and EverNote.

    Thanks,

Are you asking about a MS Exchange email account?

If you are I use Outlook 2010 and I don't have notes just calendar & tasks (& email) so I don't know if you're using Outlook 2013 and it has a notes feature but to fully sync Outlook you have to set it up as an Exchange account, not as IMAP or POP because those two only sync the email and not the calendar or tasks.

Of course if you're asking about something other than MS Exchange my reply will be completely irrelevant............

Which version of Exchange are you trying to sync to? Nine Mail will sync mail, task and notes, however notes only sync's on Exchange 2010 or later.

That's BS. Exchange 2010 supports Notes over ActiveSync, it's Exchange 2007 and earlier that doesn't support it. I work for an Gold member Microsoft MSP. Not to mention my BlackBerry Z10 which is activated on a Exchange 2010 server has Notes access no problems.

Is there any other application that only sync's notes, I will check Nine Mail to see if I can do this. I like where my mail is being managed currently.

    Thanks for the tip!

Not that I'm aware of but once I started using Nine Mail I stopped looking. I was a long time user of Touchdown but the UI was in bad need of updating. Found Nine and never looked back.

Well then Notes is a feature I have not discovered in Outlook 2010. Being as you're employed by a MS Gold certified partner I'm sure you can explain to me how to access the Notes feature.

Sorry you felt it necessary to post my reply was BS. Very immature of you.

My original response about setting the account up as a MS Exchange account rather than POP or IMAP to access the calendar & tasks is a valid one and I'm certain that's the case to access Notes as well.

I'm not familiar with how Blackberry sets up a MS Exchange account. I thought all of their email was through their own servers.

Note 4 doesn't sync MS outlook notes by default. The only way to do it is via Deja Office app which can sync notes via USB connection.

What I discovered when I located notes in contacts is the reason I was unaware of its existence is because I use Zoho CRM which does sync 100% to my phone through their mobile app and also syncs to Outlook's calendar & tasks.

    Completely wrong info -

There are several apps that will do it, all wirelessly too.

I use 9 Folders, which has a notes and tasks app that syncs with MS Exchange notes and tasks.

There are standalone apps on Google Play that will do it was well, but not worth the money when you consider 9 Folders has it all built in. Touchdown, which has an awful UI, has had notes sync for years..and there are more available on Google play.

This is a very good option, my Exchange service is 2007 so it will not sync notes from Outlook. I also use Onenote and don't really think outlook notes could come close to Onenote.

Info that I gave was not completely wrong. What you can say which I will definitely agree is that there are other applications available from Google play store that can help to sync notes however there is no default sync option as is available on IOS devices as well blackberry that sync notes along with contacts, calender and tasks of outlook without any third party app intervention.

I stand corrected - and you are right. You were only half wrong, as was I.

Notes don't sync or exist by default, but yes, there are plenty of wireless options to do that!

You I tried Nine which was free to download and it works great with the exception that the application isn't exactly free like its posted on Google Play as. After 30 days it prompted me to pay $12 to purchase the application. I think Google Play should change the applications that aren't technically free to "trail" so that people aren't downloading them to only be disappointed in the end.

    Thanks,

I checked - it doesn't say it's free. It says free for 2 weeks, then paid. It also has a link to the price on their site right from Google play ($9.99). It can be a bit confusing, the way they indicate pricing, but I have had it since day one and it blows everything else away. Their support is beyond stellar as well. They update every week and add features with every update. I saw them grow from a few hundred downloads to over 500,000 and now 6500 reviews...in under a year. They have almost 5 stars. That's pretty serious!

I just uninstalled NINE and checked Google Play. After you do a search for NINE it says in green letters "FREE". They need to change this to "TRIAL" since it's clear the application isn't "FREE". This could land Google who's a Canadian company in legal waters.
