Is my battery OK?

I've seen a few threads about battery life and mine seems to be OK vs my old Nexus 5, but I'm still not sure if it's as amazing as what others have been getting.

Seems to me like Android OS and Android System are the main culprits for my battery drain vs the screen. Is this normal?

Thanks!

You didn't include your screen on time, which doesn't seem to be a ton in looking at your graph. Ideally, you want your awake time to closely resemble your screen on time as much as possible. It looks like your phone is awaking a lot more than you are using it. It won't go into deep sleep doing this.

Here is mine from a couple nights ago. There's not much difference in awake time as opposed to my screen on time.

Sorry - good point. SOT was approx 1h50 at that point which isn't much at all, from my understanding.

What causes constant waking up?

Check the settings on any app that accesses data or pushes notifications. The main culprits are email and social media apps. There's no reason to have these apps update if you are not using your phone. Make sure all refreshing is set to manual. . Check weather apps too if you have any installed. Sometimes it's set to update at specified intervals instead of when you turn on the screen. I keep mine around one hour, I believe.

I was having major battery drain until I went into Developer Mode and changed the runtime. From Dalvik to ART. Thought it might have been a mistake at first since it was very slow but rebooted again and now it's running cool and the battery is holding up great.

Just switched from Dalvik to ART. Crossing my fingers this will help out a bit.

My battery is still leaps and bounds better than my Nexus 5 but I expect more! ;)

Jury is still out on the effectiveness of this fix for me. Installed several apps last night and had fast drain again this morning. Rebooted and it took a why to update certain apps during the reboot. Seems to be better again. Might have to reboot after installing apps until Lollipop rolls out I'm guessing.
