Playstore app not updating.

I have had my Verizon Note 4 for 1 week now and the playstore app is still on version 4.820. The newest version is 5.0 something. My wife's galaxy s3 has updated. My nexus 7 has updated. has your playstore app updated on your Note 4?

Also, I have tapped the build number to check for an update and it states Google playstore is up to date.

Any info is appreciated.

Yes updated a while back, can't remember exactly when, 5.0.38 on AT&T.

Hmmm. I wonder if it is a Verizon thing?

I just kept checking the version in the settings and I got the latest update yesterday. I'm on Verizon.
5.0.38 is what I got.
