    Hi All,

I was trying to figure out how to word the title.... Here is the issue:

If I'm talking on the Note 4 and holding it to my ear the screen is off as it should be because the proximity sensor has detected my face. HOWEVER...if a call comes in it overrides the proximity sensor and lights up the screen while its against my face causing me to press multiple features by mistake during my call.

Is anyone aware of this issue? The screen should NOT light up while you are on a call and the proximity sensor has darkened or shut off the display.

I feel like this has been how all my Android phones have been, but just feel, not positive.

    Hi,
So your screen lights up while you are on a call and another call comes in while holding the phone against your ear?

Wouldn't that perhaps help alert you that you have an incoming call?

Since you normally can't see the screen while you're on a call, no. It's just one of those bad ideas that come along once in a while. Does your home phone light up when you're on a call and another one comes in? No, it just beeps. That's what we're used to and it's good enough for cellphones too.

    Google blew another one.

That's something that can be addressed in an update I bet.

Ya the screen lighting up while we are on a call and another comes in is bad programming by Google...They need to quit hanging out at Starbucks in Pac Heights and take their big custom bus to work and actually DO WORK lol
By the way Google....just a simple haptic feedback or chime of an incoming call would work just fine.
