Static on phone calls

Hello everyone,

I've been noticing that on phone calls I'm hearing a lot of static. I check my signal strengths and I have full bars. It's so weird and annoying. Anyone else experiencing/experienced something similar? I am on t-mobile

If you have a CDMA carrier, a weak signal will result in an "underwater" sound. If you have a GSM carrier, a weak signal will result in "going digital" (kind of like way over the top auto-tuning to the point that it's not understandable). There's no "static" in digital communications. Either your carrier is having a problem in the central office the tower backlinks to (very unlikely) or your phone is defective. Since it's under replacement warranty, back everything up, bring it to the carrier and ask them to please repair or replace it.
