No - it's Samsung's way of defending your law suit against them for the high volume damaging your hearing (which it will if you're using earphones).

Because Apple would win in a courtroom, because it is Apple.

Using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (Sprint). Went to the stock music player>settings and turned on adaptive sound>customize>configured it by clicking "No" when it asked if I could hear the tone. I kept saying "No" until there were no more options and saved. Then I check all the boxes for adding that adaptive sound to "call" "headphones" "videos"and "bluetooth". After that I downloaded "Volume Control" by RevsoDev. In the Google Play Store. Loaded it and pushed all the sliders to the right. I no longer have the warning in music player, youtube, or brouser videos, or stock player videos. I'll have to restart my phone to make sure the settings stick. I hope this helps. I gate that warning and it has almost got me in more accidents than it prevented with my BT. Car stereo.

^^^ solution didn't work after restart. However, I went back to the Volume contol program by RevsaDev I installed from google play store. they default back to system settings. I just slid them all back to the right (full volume). I anticipate I will not have to worry until my phone ever restarts. So it's a small half victory. Compromise if you will. And that's what life's about. Good luck everyone. I hope I contributed something positive to your life.
