I'd recommend SwiftKey. Lots of different themes and kind of reminds me of the blackberry z10 keyboard.

On note 3 I used all blacks mod which made everything dark theme.

The keyboard there was the best non BlackBerry keyboard I've used.

I finally got fed up with SwiftKey's poor accuracy and much-diminished prediction ability and tried Swype again.

They definitely fixed the problems. Accuracy is superb, it's very responsive, and I find the prediction slightly better than SwiftKey.

I just wish Swype had options for dedicated number row and the cursor errors.

I prefer the SwiftKey layout, but Swype just works a whole lot better for me.

There's a reason for that . The BB10 keyboard is powered by SwiftKey.

I was a huge fan of the z10 keyboard, but I do not really like swifkey! I prefer Google's lollipop keyboard! Looks clean and the prediction is very good!

I've found having a dedicated number row is my #2 priority (swiping is #1). So those without that function are of my list.

Every time I read about keyboards so many love swift key, so I try it out again. The thing I don't like about swift key compared to stock (which is what I use), is when you misspell or the keyboard picks the wrong word, stock allows you to delete the word with a single backspace instead of backspace each letter. I also find stock easier to select a close word when it picks the wrong one. If swift key could mimic these 2 things (I don't see it as a setting), I'd try switching.

I've Swype, swift and Google keyboards installed on my phone but I've been using the Google keyboard like 95% off the time. I find it much more useful for the kind of broken/slang English I speak with my families and friends. Swift key may be accurate but it brings up so many error for me.

Did you ever delve into the SwiftKey themes? There's one called "dark" that very closely resembles the BB10 keyboard. The keys are square and touching. All that's missing are the virtual frets in between the rows!

I have been a SwiftKey devotee for a few years now. I have to admit though, that the Samsung keyboard has been nice so far. I have not found the need to switch over yet. We'll see how it goes after I have had the phone for a while.

I have been using the Samsung keyboard but the text prediction is horrendous. What I really liked about it was the top number row so you didn't have to switch to a dedicated numbers keyboard but the text prediction is so bad the Samsung keyboard is useless. For those using Swift Key what do you like better about it vs. Swpe?

I'm currently in some kind of keyboard paranoia, I am frequently changing between swype, SwiftKey, and stock. Too bad that Google keyboard aren't available on Google play store in Sweden .

It goes beyond the colour or fret imho. The swiping up to complete the word is what I think makes the Z3/10/30 neat. Not necessary better but the fact that you don't have to stop to pick a word from the top of the keyboard to complete it is pretty efficient.

You can download from your regular browser as a APK, at least that's what I've done. I guess its not supported in Europe..

I do however use Dutch on it 😉

I like that SwiftKey works across multiple devices and stores settings in the cloud. I find the prediction engine to be superb, and it improves over time. I let it train from gmail and my other accounts during set up. I also had more luck with accuracy vs. swype. I think it lags less as well.
