Photos aren't saving to my SD card anymore

Is there a way to fix this without transferring everything to my computer, reformatting my card, and transferring everything back?

Did it just stop, or stop after an update? Are you out of room? If it just stopped, and wasnt as a result of a software upgrade, or out of room, then the SD card is probably corrupted. You'll probably need to format, or get a new one.

Try this first...if you haven't already. (back up your sd card) this is a must, if you haven't already. Then turn phone off, remove card, reboot without card, the shut down again, reinsert the card and reboot, see if that fixes your problem. Let us know!

Oh...are you using a 3rd party app? That might have that ability disabled, or doesn't support it?

Thanks! Taking the card out and rebooting helped. Pics just suddenly stopped saving to the card and I wasn't using a third party app. Hopefully it's fixed for good now!

I reformatted my sd card and also factory reset my device. My images are saving as a black screen with a photo icon in the centre. I haven't had issues before.. any ideas ?
