    Hi all,

I recently upgraded to a Note 4 from a Galaxy S3 and I am loving the phone. My only complaint is that when I physically plug in headphones (new) into the headphone jack - the phone shows a notification for a second - and then the music continues to play out of the phone itself and nothing comes out of the headphones.

    Things I've tried:
Rebooting the phone with headphones plugged in.
Rebooting phone without them pugged in.
Tested them in the wifes Note 4 (Worked)
Tested them in my S3 (Worked)

Any ideas? Settings I may have shut off trying to beef up the battery life or anything?

    Thanks much!

Make sure they're plugged in all the way. If that's not it, bring the phone and the headphones back and ask that the phone be repaired or replaced with one that works. (A bad jack is covered under the replacement warranty.)

    Hi Rukbat,

I'm sure they're plugged in all the way. If I forced them in any further I'm sure they would end up breaking something.

Thank you for pointing out that the jack is covered under the warranty - I really hope that's not what has to happen but if it does, then I'll do it.
