Just curious about your opinions on battery saver apps, are they worth it? Any one in particular that you would recommend? I just recently downloaded one (green power) to try out so I'll see how it works over the next couple days. Stretching my battery life isn't that big of a deal because I carry a spare, but I'm not appose to anything that makes any aspect of my phone better as its worth it.

I don't waste my time with them. Might as well turn on battery saving mode on the phone if you're gonna do something like that.

They all come with compromises.

Battery guru turns off auto sync to save on standby battery while an app like juice defender turns off data when the screen is off.
The downside is you might miss notifications and you'll have to wait for the data connection to come back on when you unlock your phone.
