Why is the sound for Music, video, games and other media being turned all the way down?

Sound for" Music, video, games and other media" being turned all the way down

Has this ever happened to you.

I set "simple timer" for a few minutes and found the music alarm was extremely low, even though my volume slider was all the way up.

Decided to go into sound settings and found volume setting for music, video, games and other media turned all the way down.

This is the second time I found this had happened.

Does anyone have a clue about why this would happen?

Possibly if you turn down the volume on a phone call, listening to music or some thing in an app.
Check it often by touching the volume button on the side, then hitting the settings gear, and looking at the media slider.
