    Anyone know how to shut off that stupid volume limit warning permanently? I switch out batteries all the time instead of charging, so I have to restart the phone and it just resets the volume limit warning. Anyone know how to shut it off for good?

    root your phone. that warning is Samsung's protection against lawsuit just in case you ruin your hearing while blasting full volumes.

    No - and there's a reason for it. A good pair of digital hearing aids goes for about $7,000 today. (One sharp blast in your ear and you'll be hearing a 4KHz whistle in your coffin long after you're dead. And you don't hear well with one hearing aid.) Be annoyed or be deaf ... tough choice. (Take it from someone who's been there and is still there - I'd gladly pay $7,000 to get my old ears back. Unfortunately all I can get are hearing aids, and comparing them to ears is like comparing 2 tin cans and a string to a cellphone.)

    @dnangel:
    Not "in case", but "when".
