US Cellular dropped a new update to the Note 4 this morning. I hesitated to DL it (I would rather not be a first adopter of Lollipop) but then realized I had no real choice. The update DL'd automatically and sat in notification until I selected it. Oh well....

Previous version I had: ANJ7, kernel version 3.10.0-3029487 build date 10-17-2014

New version: ANK5, kernel version 3.10.0-3267208 build date 11-14-2014

    Still Android 4.4.4

No visible changes to UI or functionality. About the only thing I can say is different that is immediately apparent is the calculator stopped talking for me. I can't say for sure that it was a result of the update, but I used the calculator within the last couple of weeks and it was talking to me. I've made no changes to settings since then, and now it isn't talking. So maybe this update addressed it.

Link to the US Cellular Support Page. If you have activated/linked your phone with a valid gmail account and have WiFi, this update will download automatically OTA. If you have kept your phone "off the grid" you may need to DL the update using Kies.

As usual, the USCC support page does not provide any useful information about what is included in the update.
