    Just push it a bit harder, it will clip on. I noticed it on mine when I first got it.

    I start at the bottom end first and work all the way up. The cover is fairly flexible so it shouldn't have a problem finding its right place. Or have a look in the manual, there are pics there showing how to fit it.

    If you really have to you can always buy another cover if it's just a latch you are worried about, they are quite cheap (as long it's genuine).

    I had the same problem with the stock back cover and found when I lifted slightly on the sides of the middle of the cover and pressed-in the top and bottom first, I was then able to press on the sides to get the entire cover properly secured.
