Unlimited data is only available on sprint and tmobile for now. The tradeoff is coverage is terrible on both networks. You get what you pay for. Sprint is already capping certain plans and more are sure to follow. Tmobile used to be one of the premier carriers but now seem to be barely staying afloat. I get a pretty good deal with ATT and with data rollover it is even more attractive. IMHO
Sprint is the cheapest unlimited data carrier of all 4 carriers if you even include grandfathered plans I believe. For $80 you can get unlimited data and an iPhone 6 on their leasing plans or $87 for unlimited data and $27 for the nexus 6 with sprint easy pay

Interesting that you said that. A good friend of mine wanted me to switch over to Verizon for the longest time. How much is your monthly plan for everything unlimited? It seems that unlimited is the way to go for this type of phone.
I have heard that business lines can still assume liability of unlimited lines on Verizon, ymmv though. Otherwise, consumer lines cannot assume liability of unlimited lines anymore. If you want Verizon unlimited data at this time, you can rent an unlimited data line.

You should post some speed tests from the day time. I too can get 50Mbps at 2AM.
This is on Verizon just now at my desk at work. I work in a high rise amongst multiple high rises.

My friend got a Tmobile plan last year. $70 voice for 4 lines and $5 unlimited data per line. So 4 lines with unlimited talk and data would be $90. You don't get anything else included like international data though.

Thanks for the responses folks! So after calling the 3 other major carriers, I circled back to TMobile, and asked if they can do better than the $45/mo that uncludes unlimited data, talk and text with my Gear S and Note 4. They said this plan, Simple Select, is a brand new plan for selected TMobile consumers, so I guess I will stay with TMobile afterall. As for coverage, they said as long as I am in a Metro area I'll be fine.

The OP said that he was considering switching. You had mentioned your poor speeds on Verizon and AT&T, so I wanted to share my experience as well.

With regards to T-Mobile speeds, I did do the T-Mobile test drive and tested it side by side with my Verizon Note 3 back in July 2014. I realize it is dated, but my understanding is that you are allowed to do only one test drive. I would gladly retest.

As I said before, I work in a high rise amongst multiple high rises. It doesn't get more urban than this. From what my co-workers on T-Mobile are telling me, speeds at my desk at work seemed to have dropped dramatically on T-Mobile since the speed tests that I did on my test drive.. At some other parts of the building, my co-workers were telling me that T-Mobile data is very flaky, and almost non existent, and missing calls. Verizon in those parts is slower, but still provides very usable speeds. In the underground parking structure at my work, 2nd level below ground, T-Mobile gets no signal. Verizon gets a very faint 1x signal (not enough to do speed tests), but I can make phone calls and Google voice texts and hangouts sporadically work.

At home(9 PM tests), T-Mobile dropped to 4g and Edge downstairs, and speeds really tanked. Verizon slowed, but maintained decent 4GLTE at the same locations where T-Mobile lost 4GLTE.

At the time of the speed tests, T-Mobile had wideband LTE deployed in my area (15+15Mhz), and Verizon had 700Mhz (10+10Mhz) and XLTE (20+20Mhz) deployed in my area.

Finally, in some spots of limited connectivity, T-mobile speed tests have gaps due to not being able to complete speed tests.

The T-Mobile Simple Choice plan gives you unlimited talk and text for $50/mo. It also includes unlimited date, but not high speed data. For high speed data, it's 3GB for $10/mo., 5GB for $20/mo., and $30/mo for unlimited high speed data. Even if you go over the allotted data plan, you still have free data access, but at regular data speed. The Gear S plan is $15/mo. for unlimited talk and text and 500MB of high speed data. If you have a Simple Choice plan, with the 3GB or 5GB high speed data, there's a $10/mo. discount; so it only costs $5/mo. The Simple Choice high speed data plans now roll over (Data Stash) for 12 months. And they start you off with 10GB of high speed data for free. (Your plans data doesn't start until you use up the 10GB.) And there are no contracts...except you do have to pay for the device (monthly payments are available; $0 down with good credit).

    Did I leave anything out?

We are seriously considering moving our four verizon phones to tmobile for $200/month for unlimited everything. Coverage looks like it has gotten much better the past couple of years in my area. We all have tmo-compatible phones and are all unlocked already.
