I'm really frustrated. I put my music into the sd card with the adapter, because when I put it into the samsung it file explorer would crash if I tried to move over the songs. I turned on usb debug mode and installed (twice!) the usb adapter drive that my verizon samsung came with. When I plug it in, that popup comes up on the computer that says "installing necessary files", but the green line is just stuck there. Can anyone help me? Please??????

Are you trying to access your phone via USB? You DON'T need USB Debugging, you just need to plug it in and let the system load the drivers. If your computer can't find them, you might need to install Samsung Kies in your computer.

As for the SD Card, because of the way KitKat changed SD Card access rights, yeah, 3rd party File Managers have issues with SD Card writing, but you should be able to do it without issues with the stock File Manager app. Also, remember that if you used the SD Card in your computer, in order for your phone to be able to read it, you need to use either FAT32 or ExFAT format; if you use NTFS your phone will not be able to read it.
