gallery lag

Does anyone have any solutions to the lag when opening, viewing, or deleting pics from the gallery? Mine is painfully slow. I didn't seem to have this problem with my note 3.

I havent noticed any diff on mine from the note 3. I use quickpic though as a gallery. When i do go into the stock gallery app it seems fine, nothing more than the time for creating the thumbnails

No, its a standard app. Very easy, ive used it on my last phones because on my motos i couldnt make named pic folders and this ine allows you too, also allows to hide pics.

Quickpic is nice but it doesn't allow you to delete photos which sucks......

I hate to disagree but I use QuickPic on my Note 4 and it certainly does have a delete option. QuickPic is a great Gallery replacement app!

If you're using an SD card, it may have to do with communicating with the card. I did not have the lag issue on my N2, but I noticed it on my N4. I removed the SD card and had it store on the phone - no lag. Put the card back in - lag.

Could be your particular SD card. There is no lag in my gallery.

Doesn't have a "move" option though. I use QuikPic over the stock Samsung gallery however after a days worth of photos, I like to put them into existing folders I have set-up and the only way to do it is by using a file manager of sorts.
