Why won't my Galaxy Note 4 screen turn on?

Galaxy Note 4 Screen won't turn on

I have the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and last night someone knocked a drink over, causing soda to run around/under it. I checked it and everything seemed fine. The phone worked perfectly until I put it on charge. I don't know if the screen was on when I took it off the charger because I wasn't paying attention, but when I tried to use it, the screen wouldn't work. The lights blink and it turns off and on, but it won't show anything on the screen. Help please!!!! I haven't even had this phone for a month!

all of the above is consistent with water damage. I would suggest taking the back of the phone, removing the battery and letting the phone dry out for a couple of days. Put the phone in a bag of dry rice, which will allow the rice to absorb any water that is in the phone. Failing that you will need to send the phone away to be repaired.
