Note 4 s beam - How to use?

So I went to nfc and turned on both options.... but whenever I go to a picture or a file and select "share" neither android beam or s beam is under the selections.

It has been a while since I used s beam, but from what I remember, you just tap the back of both phones together. There is nothing in the options to initiate the transfer
