What are the essential apps I need to get? What are good uses for the S-pen? Great note taking app? Stock keyboard or Swype or another?

I may have given in to impulse and finally got my Note. Now how do I maximize?

Nice video, but setting S-Voice and/or Google to activate from anywhere eats more battery and slows the phone down. they're not bad features, but you should be aware of the side effects.

I disable most Google apps and services for privacy and battery concerns.

I use Firefox with black background addon to help battery.

I installed many apps with dark themes to help battery. Such as: android central, aqua mail.

I installed apps with offline functions to make the phone useful without a network connection: here map and navigation, kiwix offline wikipedia.
