So my Note 4 updated last night, Spent the day in a zero coverage area, no wifi, no cellular. Phone was down to 12% battery after 12 hours. We will see what happens tomorrow.

    That doesn't sound good
I usually get 24-36 hours before update
today I am down to 50% in about 14 hours of moderate use

Sorry it's just frustrating. I'm glad I have my iPhone 6 to fall back on
So if you want to uncheck auto time update and change your date by 1 day you can rerun the update, rinse and repeat.

I was in a major dead zone, like 70 feet underground all day. ZERO signal, it killed my Gear S too.

I had the download in a postponed mode. I deathly afraid to up date my week old phone. Seems there is a lot of issues after updating

    Thank you!

Turned off Wi-Fi to stop the automatic downloading. Then, blocked that "com.ws.dm" one. Turned on Wi-Fi. Rebooted the phone. it is NOT automatically downloading anymore. I'll see if this continues to postpone the update for a while.

Just finished updating. Guess my Note 4 was set up to update automatically. I really wanted to wait a bit before updating to lollipop. Oh well, my fault. I should have checked my settings. I'll just have to see how it all plays out, I guess.

I think that logo only shows if you are actually on att network, I use att branded phones on my straight talk acount and my note 4 is the 910A when I put the wife's att Sim in my note 4 it shows att's logo BUT when I put my straight talk Sim in it always shows HOME.
I thinks it's to do with network and which APN you are using.

I'm also experiencing some more battery drain and I did clear cache and reboot a couple of times. I'm seeing my phone "awake" a lot.

Using G SAM battery monitor it doesn't allow me to drill down much on these wake locks. I turned off location history earlier today and still same results. Really dreading a restore. Restores are one great advantage that iOS has over android. I hate having to set everything back up again.

I'll give it a few days to settle down and hope it gets better.

This is something that really grinds my gears with Android and why I disable the OTA updater to take back control of my device so this doesn't happen. IMO this is one area Android really needs to mature in and provide a native way to control OS updates (ex. like Microsoft does with Windows where you have the option to set OS software updates to: Automatic, Notify only, or Disable). As it is now without killing the updater, you're at the mercy of Google, the OEM, or your carrier. Your device may get updated in the middle of the night or worse; a time when you need to use it whether you wanted it to or not. Either way it results in the user spending an inordinate amount of unplanned time troubleshooting and trying to fix a problem the update introduced to what was otherwise previously a problem free working device.
I completely agree with you. Going back to my original Android phone about 5 years ago I don't ever remember the phone updating the OS by itself. I always had to check for updates and if available select download. I wasn't going to immediately upgrade to Lollipop but I had no choice as the download was almost 2 hours into it before I realized it was downloading Lollipop. So whether I want it or not I've got Lollipop.

One thing I noticed other posters commenting about was the Play Store update. My phone did update the Play Store app after it rebooted from the Lollipop install. Only thing I found a few minutes into using Lollipop is my contacts which are in a custom view were not the same custom view I had in Kit Kat.

This update should not have happened with the user specifically wanting it to but fortunately I didn't need to use my phone and after the better part of 2 hours downloading I'm not going to cancel it. During the download I think the phone was still completely functional, it was only during the install & app updating which took probably 15 minutes at most that the phone wasn't functional. Reason I didn't want Lollipop immediately is I wanted to follow this thread to see what issues were reported first.

Forgot to attach this one as well.... I did have to do a quick car charge for 20 minutes as it dropped too low. Shouldn't be happening.

Google Now "always listening" seems to have been disabled for the Note 4 in the Lollipop update. Can't activate the device when it's locked & screen off. That's a deal breaker for me. I had this functionality in Kitkat.

Anyone have this feature working or know how to enable? Tried uninstalling updates to Google search app. No good, the default version has been updated in Lollipop with the functionality removed.
    Works fine for me

Sorry...didn't want to post the whole post from Boufa... but am curious why the below were left off the note 4 on ATT.

Also is there anyway to get the multi user mode enabled? Or is there an app that would replicate it?
    Thanks
    Ed

2 - No flashlight from task bar
    3- Can't "pin apps"
4 - No Multi User mode including Guests

Anyone having any charging issues??? Even tho fast charging is checked it doesn't look like it's fast charging if it's going to take almost 2 hours to charge the remaining 61%.

Disable S Voice in app management and then reboot. Always On will no longer be grayed out in Google Now settings.

And still no data network toggle in the quick settings menu. This for me is am issue because Google broke the ability to use aftermarket toggles so now it's the ios like method of multi steps to do 1 simple task

I'm not sure what toggles you want, but Power Toggles works with this update. I use it to quickly toggle Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
