I leave it off. I like to know when I'm using my download allowance and when I'm using WIFI. I can't imagine there being that much of a benefit to using both at the same time.

There is a benefit, just not for you... Anything to get you to use up more of your data plan...

I would like to know why they didn't include it along with car mode. Now that I'm with T-mobile and have their variant of the Note 4, I am very pleased to have these added features. And I will add, my Note 4 from T-Mo bile seems snappier than the AT&T Note 4 I originally had.

Leave mine on all the time, but then I have unlimited data.

So, how do I know when it's on or working?

Also, sometimes there is an "E" instead of the usual "4G" on top of the WiFi symbol.

I couldn't find that icon in the manual. Can anyone please enlighten me?

P.S. I came to T-Mobile from Sprint...what a difference! Still have unlimited data on T-Mobile...REAL data.

E means edge. 2g speeds. You're on T-Mobile so you shouldn't be surprised.

How bout 4X speed of download. Seen this often on a T-mobile. 2X and 3X are common.
