Foxfi working with Lolly pop 5.01?

I don't know about Verizon. On AT&T the wifi hotspot wasn't available on Kit Kat only Bluetooth & USB tether. On my AT&T N4 the Bluetooth didn't work, showed connection but I think it wasn't fast enough to actually use so I USB tethered to use Foxfi and that still works w/ Lollipop.

My problem is when USB tethered my laptop keeps the phone fully charged severely decreasing it's battery life. I should get around 6 hours & I only get about 4. So I guess I'm going to have to ante up & pay AT&T more for their hotspot.
