I'm having serious battery issues after the Lollipop update on my AT&T Note 4. I'm averaging 10 hours. Before the update I could go 1 day+. Today, while resting the phone on a pile of laundry I noticed the heart beat sensor would go on and stay on if some of the clothes got too close. It also now comes on whenever touched with my finger, even when screen is off. Is it doing this in my pocket too? Anyone else having this issue. I'm regretting the update. The light stays on (see pic) until you move the object away from the sensor.

Same here with the battery issue. I hate this update too. The thing that seemed to really help my battery was checking why my WiFi was showing up as on on the battery screen. I discovered under settings> connections> WiFi> menu> advanced that the box was checked for allowing Google services and apps to scan for WiFi even if WiFi was off. I unchecked it and the battery seemed to stablize.

I was having an overheating issue and shutting off the phone and removing sim card stopped that.

I wish I knew how to help you with sensor issue but I have never used mine and haven't had that issue.

After doing this my battery appears to be back to normal.

I had the same issue with the heart sensor, once I set up S Health it was fine. I don't know why it would do that prior however.

I'm thinking the only benefit for the phone to be scanning for Wi-Fi when it's off is possibly location services which cell towers should work just fine. Other than that I see no reason for it especially if you don't use any Wi-Fi network but your own home one which is my circumstance.
