    I had to unmount my micro sd card in order to install an app. Now when I try to mount it it says it is damaged. it works fine when I plug it into my computer. I have the galaxy note 4. please help!!

    That's odd...

    -First try. Insert card. Reboot phone. Does it work?
    ---Uninstall the app. Reboot the phone. Does it work? I don't know why you have to take out a card to install an app, but it sounds like the app does something to cards, so maybe that is the problem.
    --If that doesn't work, alas, I'd be inclined to format it in the phone. Hopefully, you have nothing irreplaceable, but you can always offload it first since you say it is working in the computer.

    You might just have to re-format it. Try backing up the card's contents in the PC, re-formatting the card in your phone, and see if that helps. Or you could format the card on your computer as long as you're using either FAT32 or ExFAT formats.
