I like to use Google fit for counting my steps while I am work, I don't need all the things s health offers. After I received the lollipop update my phone is no longer a supported device. Is there anything I need to change on my phone or is this a problem with the app. I also don't like that lollipop took away the step count on the lock screen for s health is why I wanted to switch. Hope someone has figured out a way around this.

I can't answer the Google fit question, but I do see the step count on my lock screen from s health if there are no notifications. Once there are notifications that info doesn't appear. Not sure if there is a setting for this or not.

It's not the update! My S5 was running a stock 4.4.2 Samsung ROM, and Google fit suddenly became incompatible with it. It's a real pain as I bought an LG G Watch on the basis that I could use fit instead of S Health as it only supports Galaxy gear.
