Hey guys,

There is one thing that prevents me from installing the lollipop update - the Lockscreen. When I listen to music (Spotify, Music Player,... ), there are these three nice and big buttons for previous/next track and play/pause, I guess y'all know them. Do they still exist after the lollipop update? I know that I can disable the lockscreen notfications, it would be awesome if anyone could post a Screenshot of the lockscreen while the music player is running.

Cheers guys

Yup, they are on the lock screen just like kit kat. I use Google music and no issues.

Google music is the only one that shows right now. Wife had lollipop and Pandora does not show. You have to wait for an update from the app devs

I use the stock google app or player pro. This is what I get when there is album art and when there is not.

Thanks guys, sounds good so far. How is your lollipop experience on the note 4 in general?

skatergirl: why is there just the album art and no music control buttons?

When running Spotify and Slacker, the album art and control buttons display on the lock page. Works great under Lollipop on my Note 4.

How does it look like when you turn off the lockscreen notfications? Now there are just these tabs which I don't really like.

I just tried the whole thing with my girlfriends' G3 - when I turn off lockscreen notifications and start to play some music, there are no buttons on the lockscreen AT ALL! How stupid is that?

The controls for music are gone if the lockscreen notifications are disabled. I hate the new lockscreen notifications so I disabled them but I really miss having those controls for my music :(

Hmmm. Mine shows controls using the Google play music widget. Oddly, though, when I first started the song nothing showed on the lockscreen. I then tapped on the music player widget, that opened gpm, then I closed all of that and locked my screen. Then the controls showed up all the time.

Yeah that's the case if you don't turn them notifications off.. it's always there.
For your reference, that's how it is in kitkat and how I want it to be in lollipop as well!
