Amazon Prime Music Drop Down Menu Not Working

Any one having their drop down menu on Stations, Playlists, Songs, and Albums not working? I have the latest Amazon version 4.4 and running lollipop. Upgraded about a week ago and did factory reset just because I wanted to.

I already tired cleaning app cache but still drop downs do nothing when I click on them. See attached image.

I've reached out to Amazon support and here the email back from them. That didn't work for me. Any Amazon prime users out there with the same issue on note 4?


I am sorry to know about the issue with the drop down menu on your device. We certainly did not expect this to happen, I'll surely help you with this quickly.

I have looked up to the information and see that this is an intermittent issue and can be resolved permanently by following the basic troubleshooting steps mentioned below:

Step 1: Clear Cache:

1. Swipe down from the top of your screen and tap "Settings."
2. Tap "Applications," and then "Manage Applications."
3. Select "App."
4. Select "Force Stop," and then tap "Clear Cache."
5. Go back to your device Home screen and re-open the app to check if the issue persists.

Step 2: Clear Data for Appstore:

1. Swipe down from the top of your screen and tap "Settings."
2. Tap "Applications," and then "Manage Applications."
3. Select "Amazon Appstore."
4. Select "Force Stop," and then tap "Clear Data."
5. Go back to your device Home screen and re-open the app to check if the issue persists.

Note: Please restart the device now.

I see the same thing - downloaded and installed the app today. Tried the "fix" you posted above - didn't work, none of the dropdowns do anything. I'm on Sprint/Lollipop.

my amazon music app is broken on lollipop 5.1 on nexus 5 and 7!! 5 stopped working today. unable to fill in email username or password.
tried all the above. tech support was hopeless...
