WiFi off but battery monitor reports it is on?

Here's my screen shot. How can I find out if something is accessing it without it being turned on in the notification shade?

It's a bug we got with the Lollipop updates. The battery manager shows Wi-Fi as on no matter what you do, even if it actually is off. I have not had a chance to report it yet.

Yep I have it too. Very annoying because I have terrible battery drain and haven't figured out why.

Go into wifi settings. Click the 3 dots in upper right corner. Advanced then un check the always allow scanning. It will stop it showing always on under the battery stats

I have done that. Didn't work still showing up randomly.

This worked for me. It still shows up when I use it and occasionally when I don't (hard to tell on that tiny line), but at least it's not on solid.
