Why Can't I Use my Note 4 After Entering UPSM (Ultra Power Saving Mode)?

Cannot Use Note 4 After Entering UPSM (Ultra Power Saving Mode)

Hello!
Last night I tried putting my phone into Ultra Power Saving Mode for the first time since the battery was low, but now my home screen is just black with no icons. The only way I can get to my text messages is if somebody sends me a text, because it brings up the window. However, I cannot reply to the messages as my keyboard will not pop up.

My theory is that this is because I'm using a different launcher (Next Launcher 3D) and keyboard (Swiftkey Keyboard).

I have tried both restarting my phone and letting it die completely to no avail. My settings only show Wifi, Bluetooth, Airplane Mode, Mobile Networks, Location, Sound, and Brightness.

So, I humbly come to you, Android Central.... I will be checking back on this frequently. If you need any additional information please let me know.

*EDIT*: When I first turn on my phone I get the message "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped.
