I was all set to buy the Google Nexus 6 but after reading many reviews I have started to lean towards a Note 4. The one thing that I cannot determine though is if there is a version of the Note 4 that will work with all US carriers (similar to the America's version of the Nexus 6).

I want to buy an unlocked phone and be able to switch carriers should I feel so inclined. Currently I am with T-Mobile but I travel a lot to an area where Sprint and Verizon are much better options (for data). Since I hotspot the phone a lot it would be great to be able to switch SIMS and use the best network available.

So, does Samsung make a version of the Note 4 that has the flexibility of the Nexus 6 (radio/carrier wise).

    Thanks!

I buy all my phones unlocked and pay full price for them. I get my phones at Best Buy because they offer theft protection. I am currently using the Verizon Note 4 as my daily driver for android and an iPhone 6+ (also Verizon) on T-Mobile Prepaid Service with a SIM Kit that I bought at a local Walgreens for $10. So I can confirm that the phones at least work with T-Mobile and Verizon Prepaid Services.

Same here. I just picked up my Note 4 yesterday and paid full price. T-Mobile unlocked it right on the spot. From what I gather, the T-Mobile variant is the best option once unlocked. My co-worker bought an international unlocked and he doesnt get LTE for some reason.

I have the 910C, which works flawlessly on AT&T. I don't think it supports band 12 on t mobile though. Got it from Overstock.
