I'm using Apex Launcher right now, and really love the classic, white icons. It's definitely made my phone-using-experience unique and also different! I recommend trying out a bunch of them for a few days, and then deciding which one you like the most! I plan on doing so once I have more fun with Apex. Good luck!

Icon packs are a matter of taste, really. There are a handful of devs out there who stand out from the rest, imo. Search the Play store for GSeth, stealthychief, and DcIkonz. They all have a tremendous selection of icon packs (free and paid) and their packs also have tremendous depth...meaning that their icon packs either have great masks and/or contain thousands of icons, so you likely won't be left with many (if any) apps that don't convert to your new look.

I second Gseth or Stealthychief. Gseth is about to release a pack called Vibion. I've been using the beta, and even that themes most of my icons. It's gorgeous.

I'm using Nova with Moonshine and Materis. If you're looking for Material Design and free icon packs those are your best bets.. I can share you a screens hot if you want

I love Moonshine! The icons are so crisp and bright, yet flat and clean. It's basically stock, yet better, in my opinion.

Moonshine is a great icon pack. One feature I really like is the calendar icon. It will change daily to show the current date instead of just showing the number 31.

Why nor just search the Play Store for icon packs? Or do a Google search for icon packs.....that will turn up dozens of articles and blogs with popular/new icon packs.
