Note freezes more than it works

Hey everyone,

I have a VZW Note 4 with 5.0.1 on it. I have had it since it was released last year, and loved it up until about a month ago. All the sudden the battery was ****, and it lags and freezes more than it works. I have been doing my best to clear the cache and keep apps closed, but nothing seems to help. Should I do a full re store? I need something, because I am stuck with this thing for another year. I'm not smart enough to get rid of touch wiz, or any of that, just need something a cave man could fix.

You may need to do a factory reset or if it's under warranty take it back and get a new.

Also do a cache wipe in recovery. Try the cache wipe before resetting.

Two questions - 1) do you have a microSD in it and 2) do you have any applications moved to it?

I do the cache wipe weekly. I do have a SD card, with mostly apps I don't use often and pictures and stuff. Every app that will let me move it, I have moved. Just trying opening my text app bogs the phone down so bad I don't even reply half the time.

Time for a factory reset. Somewhere you have something that is bogging you down.

Factory reset worked well. I was just being lazy and pessimistic about it working. Thanks for all the advice
