I use shut app. Ever since the last update (security patch last week) shut app is closing this all day long. It even closed it and it was still open! What is it?? I can't find it under any apps? ?
    Thanks!

Have you tried clearing your cache in recovery or performed a factory reset. Updates usually need those things performed.

Hmm none of those sound familiar. I use action note but it doesn't talk

Ok so I found it. I don't get why it's still open all the time when it's disabled. Can anyone refresh me on details to clear cache please? Thanks! !

There are apps for that on Play (ridiculous name) for doing it without going to recovery. I've used this one for many years without issue.
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...fe.cache&hl=en

For the recovery cache wipe (from this site's instructions): How to Enter Recovery Mode on Samsung Galaxy Note 4
"How to Enter Recovery Mode on Samsung Galaxy Note 4
    Use a hardware key combination

You can enter recovery mode by using the hardware method – it might require some practice so don’t panic if you can’t reach recovery from the first time.
Start by turning off your Note 4: just press power button once and select “power off” or press and hold for a few seconds the power key.
Then, press and hold power, volume up and home keys at the same time, for a couple of seconds.
Recovery mode menu will be eventually displayed on your phablet.
There you can use volume up and down button to scroll up or down and power key to select. You can return to Android OS by selecting “reboot system now” option.

Use a dedicated app from Google Play

From Google Play you can anytime download Quick Boot software.
So, search and install the tool from market.
Then, launch the same on your Note 4.
From the main menu tap on “Recovery”.
Just wait while your phablet will be rebooted in recovery mode.

There you have it. Those are the easiest ways in which you can enter your Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in recovery mode. If you have questions, use the comments field from below; do the same for sharing your experience with us and with other users who might want to use this step by step guide."

The key combo can be tricky, but with practice you'll be fine.
