    I retrieved emails from the past and when my phone clocked out there was a password waiting. I have no idea what it would be

    If you installed Android Device Manager you may be able to reset the password on your phone using that. Otherwise, you'll probably need to either contact your carrier or Samsung, but there's a very high chance they will tell you that you need to factory reset it.

    If it could be reset easily, there'd be no point in using a password.

    Go to androiddevicemanager.com should be able to change your password there.
