Hi! I plan to order an unlocked Galaxy Note 4 N910G. I'm confused about its compatibility with T-Mobile's LTE frequencies. The phone supports the LTE bands 4 (AWS) and 2 (PCS) but it doesn't support the band 12 (which might not a big deal since I will use the phone mostly in the State of Oklahoma where there are no plans for 700MHz deployment according to spectrumdeployment.com). Some users mention that the status icon of this phone will show 4G (which means anything from HSPA to HSPA+, but definitely NOT 4G LTE). So my question is where the truth lie? If both models (T-Mobile's N910T and N910G) both have the same LTE frequencies, other than band 12, why the N910G wouldn't show 4G-LTE? Also I would like to know if I can disable WIFI while I'm using USB tethering or it will stay on all the time.

Welcome to Android Central! If it supports Bands 2 and 4, it'll get LTE on T-Mobile. I can't be sure about the icons--it might be 3G/4G/4GLTE, or E/H/H+/LTE, or some combination. For what it's worth, my Zenfone 2 says 4G when I have LTE, and H+ when I have HSPA+, so just because it says 4G doesn't mean it's not getting LTE.

Thank you for answer! Can anyone confirm please that Wifi can be deactivated during USB tethering?
