Google Camera PhotoSphere/Panorama out of focus

I have had this issue with google camera since I got the Note 4 and a brief search around the internet I haven't found many others with the issue. So either I am the only one having this issue or no one is talking about, or I just missed it in a search.

Whether it is a photo sphere or panorama I get a segment of the image out of focus, see below.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I am not moving fast and holding still when the dot meets the circle.

I have this same issue, and the section that is out of focus in panoramas is the same as in your sample photo. Not sure why but it happens every time. I've given up and am using the Note 4 own camera app panorama mode - no focus issues. Too bad because I prefer the panorama mode on the Google camera app...

It's the stitching aspect of the software. It also depends on the scene you're trying to shoot... sometimes it works fine, sometimes not. Nothing can be done with it as Google needs to fix it.

All of panorama pics are out of focus.
