Actually. Technically. They are motion jpg files. Not video. And since no one has ever used them in this way they can get away with claiming they invented it....

I believe HTC Zoe has done this for a few years.

It was poking fun at them, they haven't invented anything news worthy in a while. And Cook is the new Copier in Chief. They bought patents and litigate instead of innovating.
