Is there a way of setting word replacement like on the iPhone? Where a word is typed it automatically replaces it with the pre inputted word or phrase?

None of the "stock" keyboards on the Note 4 allow this, to my knowledge.

The Samsung Keyboard included on the Note 4 has a similar, but less-robust function - the number keys can act as shortcuts to phrases - but you're limited to ten presets that way.

However, there are lots of keyboards out there that have "word replacement" like you are describing. Fleksy, for example, has an Android extension called "shortcuts" that does this.

If you use the google keyboard, very easy to create auto-text.
