I installed an 128gb SanDisk card this morning. All went well, the phone recognizes the device, indentifying 119gb as available for storage. I was easily able to transfer a file of 700+ photos from my laptop to the sdcard via the usb power cord.

However, attempting to move the photos from the device's 32gb of storage over to the sd card has thus far been unsuccessful. I've searched to see if there's some setting I need to reset before moving photos and files from "the device" over to "the sd card" but am coming up with nothing.

my files > images > select > move > sd card > select album > move... does nothing, no files move...

    pointers gratefully accepted...

I always use Es file explorer and have never had a problem, you might want to try that app. Also kit kit had a bug that required a flash fix to write to sd, do you know if you're rocking lollipop or kitkat?

well welll wellllllll... just a few moments ago, I discovered I must select the photos to move from the camera roll to the folders on the SDcard while working within the default Gallery app...

so Gallery > Camera > Select > Move to album > or Create Album > Create Album on: device or sd card > Create Album
