Not receiving texts from some people after a factory reset?

As the title says, I did a factory reset after Verizon rolled out 5.1.1. But now I'm not receiving text messages from a few of my contacts. I use Verizon messages and have the app on PC, I saw a bunch of group chat messages that I never got on my Note 4 on the PC app. It's also happening outside of group chats and one person's messages come in a day later. These people all have iPhones if it makes a difference, but I can receive messages just fine from others who also have them. Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
