Android N on the Note 4

Maybe, but considering the Note 3 hasn't gotten Marshmallow and may never get it, I'd say the chances are slim.

Pretty much this. Note 6 will hopefully release with N which will eventually trickle down to the 5 after an exclusivity period. The 4 released with Kitkat, got Lollipop and now getting Marshmallow (some of us at least, still waiting on the T-Mobile variant among others) so I kind of doubt that we will be lucky enough to get 3 full system updates.

There's absolutely no way the Note 4 gets Android N. No way.

I am not an insider and I have no proof or source to quote, but how many of you have Marshmallow? I've owned this phone for 19 months and got one major update. There's not a chance they still push a major update to this thing in 14 more months. Marshmallow was announced about a year ago and most of us are still at least a few months out before we get it.

It's doubtful and if you're on VZW then definitely not.

Even Telus has updated their Galaxy S5 with Marshmallow and still, we can't expect AT&T, Verizon, or T-Mobile to be able to get it to the Note 4. If anyone here is holding out for N, allow me to crush those dreams now.

Why is android N even a question? Most of us haven't even got marshmallow yet.
