Obviously I'm locked out. Purchased the phone from someone and now I can't get into it because there's a pin 😤😲 I've tried to do the power volume home button combo to reset button, the Droid comes up fine, when I select wipe data/factory reset it says mom does not allow factory reset and reboots back to locked screen. Any ideas?

The phone probably has reactivation lock enabled. I don't use it, but it sounds like that's what's happening. Contact whoever you bought the phone from and get the pin from them.

Welcome to Android Central! Yes, this is Factory Reset Protection in action. Unless the original user removed their account prior to the factory reset, you have to enter their account information to proceed after the factory reset. You need to talk to the seller. Ideally, meet with the seller in person so that they can handle the device and enter their password, after which the phone can be properly factory reset in their presence. Otherwise, they might be suspicious about you asking for their password.
